How long will it take to deliver my order?

Delivery of all the products takes takes 7-10 working days for mainland UK addresses.

VELUX products come through shippings and customs all the way from the VELUX manufacturing site in Denmark. If we become aware of any delays to your order, we will inform you of the progress.

Companies which quote faster delivery times must either have these items in stock, or are making a false claim.

 

How much will delivery cost?

For any mainland UK address, delivery is free and delivered via Initial City Link. (or DHL to Ireland)

Do VELUX blinds and accessories come with a guarantee?

All the VELUX blinds and accessories come with a 2 year product guarantee.

 

How do I get 'Trade' discounts on VELUX blinds?

To receive the higher discounts, you will need to order in excess of four blinds.

 

What shall I do if I need to return my blind, or accessory?

Products to be returned must be unused, unfitted and returned in the original packaging (however you can open the box initally to check it over).

In the unlikely event that you received an correct product, a free returns label will be sent out to you, upon notifying us, for customers located the UK. Replacement goods will be ordered at the same time and delivered within 7-10 working days. If you notice a discrepancy in your order, please contact us within 7 working days.

If you accidently ordered the wrong colour, or product, please contact us within 7 working days. We will order your replacement product, upon receipt of the original items. Any resulting difference in price will be charged for or refunded, before replacement items are ordered.

 

My windows and blinds are too high up to open.

To operate windows that you cannot reach, you will require a VELUX Telescopic Rod Control (Product code- ZCT 200), which extends from 100cm to 180cm. Please note: this rod only operates windows with a code ref: GGL or GGU.

If your rod is still not long enough, a 100cm VELUX extension rod can be purchased. Product code- ZCT 100.

Rod purchased for blinds, you require a rod adaptor - one per blind. Product code - ZOZ 085.

 

Can I operate serveral Remote Siesta blinds using 1 remote?

Yes. Each Remote Control blind ordered, will automatically come with 1 remote control as standard. All the remote control handsets operate at the same frequency, therefore you can control any VELUX Remote Control blind with any of the VELUX remote controls. Consequently you may occassionally find that you can operate two blinds with 1 click of the remote control!

 

What is a Pleated Duo blind?

DUO - Option 1

FHL Pleated , Semi - Opaque blinds fitted in Conjunction with a FPL Pleated blind - allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds; by keeping out as much light as you like whilst diffusing remaining light as it enters the room.

DUO option 2

Pleated Semi - Opaque Blinds fitted in conjunction with a Siesta blind - allows you to enjoy the best of both worlds by keeping out as much light as you like whilst diffusing remaining light as it enters the room.

You will need to order BOTH FPL Pleated and DKL Siesta blind to achieve the Duo option. (Siesta Blackout blind will be fixed nearest to the Glass, and the Pleated blind will be facing the Room)

 

I have UPVC White Polyurethane windows, can I have blinds that will suit this finish?

Yes. GGU and GPU windows are white UPVC windows. When you select your window type, you will be given the option of ordering a blind with a UPVC white side channels and white facias.

Please note that the Remote Controlled Siesta blinds and Awning blinds do not come in this finish.

 

Can you supply samples of blind fabrics?

Yes. If you contact us and provide your details, we will send samples upon request. Please tell us which samples you would like by providing the reference code. Catalogs can be ordered, so that you can browse at your leisure.

 

My window size is not shown, can I still get a blind for it?

Providing your window is a Genuine VELUX window, then we will almost certainly be able to provide you with you with a blind of the correct size. Please contact us if this is the case.
